For Mothers…

(Mothers-to-be & want-to-be mothers)

Painting "The Birth of Venus" by Sandro Botticelli, depicting a nude woman standing on a shell, surrounded by other figures and nature.

Motherhood is a journey, it’s a profound rite of passage, a dance between giving and receiving, nurturing and being nurtured. We celebrate the birth of a baby, but how often do we honour the birth of a mother? This sacred transition affects the mind, body, soul, and spirit, yet in our modern world, mothers are often left unseen and unsupported. Every mother deserves to feel nourished, valued, and deeply cared for.

That’s where Anima Maía comes in. I mentor and support mothers in reclaiming their power, connecting to their intuition, and bridging the gap between modern motherhood and ancestral wisdom.

In today’s fast-paced world, mothers are often expected to do it all—yet who is holding space for them? Who is midwifing the mothers through their process of rediscovery? My work is about nourishing, witnessing, supporting, and walking beside mothers so they can pour into their families from a full cup, leading to thriving family life.

Through a blend of psychotherapy, spiritual wisdom, holistic practices, yoga, bodywork, postpartum care, and modern-day guidance, I help mothers feel grounded, nurtured, and aligned with their true essence.

My mission: To revolutionise the way we experience motherhood—one where women feel empowered, connected, and deeply cared for.

I believe MOTHERS ARE THE FUTURE, and in changing how mothers can relate to the world, and their children has the potential and capacity to change the generations to come. Motherhood can be the catalyst to a deeper connection to the self, reclaiming parts of us that may have been lost.

I provide a comprehensive approach to motherhood that embraces mind, body, soul, and spirit, whilst also acknowledging the complexity of modern politics, I offer support remotely and in person.

Anima Maía is for:

  • Mothers navigating the transition of matrescence who want to better understand, explore, and embrace the profound identity shifts that come with motherhood.

  • Mothers who feel unseen, overwhelmed, or disconnected, who are seeking emotional support, holistic healing, and a space to be deeply nurtured.

  • Women interested in holistic and spiritual approaches to motherhood – those drawn to feminine spirituality, intuitive healing, and somatic work as a way to reconnect with themselves.

  • New mothers in need of postnatal support who want compassionate, mind-body-soul-spirit care during the delicate postnatal period and beyond.

  • Mothers looking for inner work that integrates mind, body, soul, and spirit, through a range of methods including but not limited to psychotherapy, somatic work, yoga, and body-based healing to process their emotions and experiences.

  • Women who want to reclaim their identity beyond motherhood. Mothers who wish to honour their own needs, desires, and personal evolution, allowing them and their families to thrive.

  • Anyone drawn to the Great Mother archetype and feminine wisdom. Women who feel a deep calling to connect with ancestral, spiritual, and feminine healing practices on their motherhood journey.

Anima Maía is not for:

  • Mothers looking for quick-fix parenting strategies. This work is about deep personal transformation, not surface-level parenting tips or behavioural techniques for children.

  • Mothers uncomfortable with spirituality and/or holistic healing, while elements of this work are rooted in psychotherapy and counselling, it also embraces the spiritual dynamics of the motherhood experience.

  • Mothers seeking only traditional therapy – If someone prefers a strictly clinical, talking therapy approach without elements of bodywork, breathwork, or spiritual connection, this may not be the right fit.

  • Those who are resistant to self-exploration and healing. This work requires openness, vulnerability, and a willingness to engage in deep inner work.

  • Women who are not yet ready to prioritise themselves – This work invites mothers to reclaim their own needs and self-care, which means it may not be suited to those who are unwilling or unable to focus on their own well-being.

  • Those who struggle to see beyond polarity and duality.
