Conselling & Psychotherapy

Motherhood is a huge transition, and in the modern world, comes along with many complexities that can leave us feeling a little out of sorts.

After entering motherhood, we can feel a degree of loneliness, loss, and confusion as we traverse the new ground we walk on, uncertain of why or how we may feel. This is often accompanied by immense feelings of love, elation, and joy, leaving us feeling even more uncertain.

Or perhaps you aren’t able to connect to your baby, there are no intense feelings of love, joy, and elation, that is ok too. You are not broken; the system is. You were never meant to do, and carry all you are alone. There is an urgent need for deep-rooted care, attention, and intention when it comes to women in and through the childbearing continuum.

Or maybe your journey to motherhood has come with a great deal of challenges, leaving you feeling a deep despair, loss, or grief. I can walk beside you through your fertility journey, miscarriage and loss, or stillbirth.

Counselling during the postpartum can be a really supportive tool for mothers, especially if we notice that there are long periods of feeling anxious, depressed, confused, or just in a bit of a funk.

My own journey in motherhood led me to therapy, and in many ways, it was the making of me as a woman and a mother. All our journeys are individual, but I have been there, I too have wondered, and wandered on the path of rediscovering myself.

I also have some limited spaces for those who are not mothers but still require some psychological support and have experience working with a range of individuals.

Our work begins with you, with your experience, and my interest lies here. Your story is your own, I am not here to cast judgement on your life but to enter with you into your inner world.  I am here to sit beside you, as you explore your inner reality, offering to you a reflection of what you share with me.

As a holistic integrative practitioner, my practice is informed by existential, psychoanalytic, and humanistic theory. I also draw on my years of training and work as a postpartum doula, in yoga, massage, and holistic wellbeing. My work is also informed by Jungian psychology, as this has been the process of my own therapeutic journey.

I work online with women and mothers throughout UK and Europe.

I offer a 20-minute discovery call, no obligation, and no fee, to see if we are a good fit to begin the work together.
